Nokia 6303 Review: Low Price Cell Phone with Pretty Good Features

Last month, I’ve already made our first review for the Nokia 6030 Classic’s brother, Nokia 6303i Classic, which I apparently labeled it as a really classic, old or outdated phone, although if I looked at the price range, it’s still worth buying cheap phone. Now I want to do again our next review of its predecessor, Nokia 6303 Classic to make a comparison between both of them. In this

Nokia 6303 Review, I will also analyze their specifications and features that make them different one to another.

Design

Based on this

Nokia 6303 Review, this phone is a lot smaller and lighter compared to other devices at the low-end price range. The aluminum case that covers the entire body of this phone looks pretty solid and shinny on light reflection. The only plastic case can only be found on the back of the phone, on the top, where the loudspeaker, camera, and flash light take place.

  • Cons
  • Has less features than Nokia 6303i; Old and lengthy design; no support of Symbian OS, without 3G.
  • Bottomline
  • Bottom line, at this low-end price range, Nokia 6303 Classic can be a great option for a cheap phone. However, if you want our recommendation, pick Nokia 6303i instead since it has much better features than Nokia 6303.

Nokia 6303 Review

Looks similar with its grand sister, Nokia 6303 is really designed by Nokia as an outdated cell phone (though it’s released to the market in 2009). Its whole design looks really classic and old compared to other similar devices at the low-end price range. Just like I said on our first review, getting this phone reminded us when our parents got us first phone ever, which looks lengthy and simple on the outside.

Nokia 6303 Review - Interface and Functionality

On the screen, the display quality of TFT, 16M colors can surely produce such a beautiful interface on the 240 x 320 pixels screen resolution.

Nokia 6303 Review - Phone Specification

Based on our Nokia 6303 review, Nokia 6303 Classic has less features and specifications than its sister, Nokia 6303i Classic. I found around 6 differences between 6303 and 6303i in this review. As a starter, Nokia 6303 Classic provides less data storage in internal and external memory. In internal memory, you will only get 17MB in internal memory and 4GB in external memory upgrading, where in Nokia 6303i, you can get around 55MB internal memory with a chance to upgrade the external memory up to 16GB.

To make this easier for you to compare between both of them, we’ve already compiled all the differences between Nokia 6303 Classic with Nokia 6303i Classic in the list "Nokia 6303 Review" below:

Multimedia and Entertainment

Nokia 6303 Classic also features some basic functionality of standard cell phone, such as: Bluetooth, USB, 3.15 MP Camera, MIDP 2.1 version of java platform, Stereo FM radio, H.263/H.264 player and MP3/WAV/eAAC+/WMA player. This phone is also equipped with 3.5mm jack headphone.

Phone Accessories

On the first purchase of Nokia 6303 Classic at any phone shop, you will get 1 battery charger, 1 headphone jack, and 1GB external memory.

Conclusion

Bottom line, if we look thoroughly on Nokia 6303 Classic specification and the features that being offered to the end users, obviously, this phone has lesser features than the young sister, 6303i, although it has the similar design. So basing on this Nokia 6303 review, I will surely recommend you to get the young sister, Nokia 6303i, instead of this phone.

But, since we all know that this phone has less features than Nokia 6303i, I believe you can get this phone at the lower price than the new Nokia 6303i at the phone shop.
