Design
Sony Ericsson W 995 runs in the same framework design as the Sony Ericsson W910i. They look square and shinny on front, the keypad is hidden on the back slider, and obviously, the both have Walkman certified player for sure. To be honest, they both look similar one to another and based on my experience of using Sony Ericsson W910i, I had really great time with it, so I believe that Sony Ericsson W 995 should bring much much better experience than Sony Ericsson W910i.
As I said earlier, the keypad buttons of Sony Ericsson W 995 are hidden on the back side of this phone, which can be opened with sliding mechanism. The great thing about the keypad is how the keypad is well designed in the really prominent surface, making it easier to press. While sliding the phone back to normal will automatically lock the keypad.
On the right hand side, galore of buttons have been added in order to provide users the shortcuts to some functionality of the phone. From the volume up and down buttons, the camera snapper and phone music control have been stacked on the right body to make it easier for the users to control some basic element of the phone. While the Walkman button has already had its own are on the left side of the phone, along with the charger port.
Interface and Functionality
With the display measure of 2.6 inches, the screen of Sony Ericsson W 995 looks really bright and wide around the front body. Moreover, everything that you see on the 240 x 320 pixels is presenter in a clean and sharp TFT, 256K colors, giving much better interface to the users.

Bottom line, I barely see Sony Ericsson failed when rolling out Walkman series to the market, so I believe Sony Ericsson W 995 will keep the track record going. Lastly, I are really happy with this phone and I are sure to give it 4 score. Which is excellent.
