Sony Ericsson W705 Review - Design
If you look closely at the front side, the metal cover of this phone has a unique pattern that makes it look not too flat. You will see its unique pattern when the light hits the phone.
The D-Pad itself and the rest physical keys on the front side look really blending with the whole metal cover of this phone, making it more classy and sophisticated in front of our eyes. Overall, this phone really reminds me of another Walkman series W995, in term of design.

Unlike on the front cover, on the back side of this device is rubberized in the black interface, which gives it more balance to the whole design and makes it convenient in grasp. Sliding the back side of this phone in order to open the standard keypad buttons is such a pleasing thing to do and effortless.

The 2.4 inch screen looks really bright and also wide on the front side. The screen interface itself looks beautifully produced and gives a satisfying result to the users. Unlike some of Walkman series around the market, the 2.4 inches screen of this phone is a lot bigger than the other phones in the same series, giving much more satisfying display to the users.
The interface itself also looks very bright and colorful with the helps from TFT, 256K colors and 240 x 320 pixels. Moreover, the screen has also been injected with the capability of Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, which is really useful when doing a landscape mode or view.

However, if you use this phone in the long run as a music player, this phone could last around 7-9 hours, which is really good. And also, if you use this phone to play java games or surf internet, it could only last around 5-8 hours in total. So practically, the battery life of this phone is great.
