Motorola Backflip specs, this smart phone has many great things to offer to the users.
Motorola Backflip Specs - Design
Instead of slider design, Motorola decides to produce this model in the backflip design. It’s really unique than the other rivals that most of them use the cliché design, where the QWERTY keyboard is concealed behind the back sliding mechanism. On Motorola Backflip, according to it last name “Backflip”, in order to open the QWERTY keyboard, you need to open the front body of this phone and flip it to the back position, so the front touch screen body is positioned at the same direction with the QWERTY keyboard.
Interestingly, when you close or flip it back to the normal position, the QWERTY keyboard on the back is automatically protected with some kind of plastic material in dark color. To be honest, I’m really impressed with this “clam shell” design of this phone. It’s pretty unique and rare to find this kind of model around the market these days, even general cell phone market as a whole.
Interface and Functionality
The next thing that I want to uncover from Motorola Backflip is the screen aspect. According to the Motorola Backflip specs, this phone has a really great quality touch screen. The 3.1 inch screen on the front side is a TFT capacitive touch screen that has been built with 256K color display and 320x480 pixel screen resolution. So everything that is presented on the screen looks amazingly sharp and the colors are well saturated on the whole screen.

Not to mention, the screen of this phone is protected by Gorilla Glass display. The screen is also injected with Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, allowing users to view this phone either in normal vertical mode or landscape mode.
Homescreen
On the homescreen, you can add any kind of widgets and float them round the provided 5-page homescreen. The recent updates of your chosen widgets are presented in the conversation boxes (just like you normally see on comic book). You can also add some shortcuts of your favorite apps on the homescreen.
Performance
The other worth mentioning aspect based on the Motorola Backflip specs is that Motorola Backflip has been injected with Android OS v1.5 Cupcake (upgradable to v2.1). So the user interface looks pretty much like the other Android phones out there, of course with Motorola own user interface called MOTOBLUR UI with Live widgets.

The performance when sliding the touch screen is considered pretty good, although there is slight delay when sliding the homescreen to the left or right. Maybe it’s because this phone only has 528MHz processor, which is below the standard of touch screen phones that mostly have 1GHz processor.
