U600 Samsung Mobile looks amazing and classy. The great thing about this phone, it also comes many promising features and specs. I’ve got to say that U600 Samsung Mobile looks beautiful and it is one of the most beautiful slider cell phones I’ve ever seen.

Design

At a glance, there is doubt that

this phone looks really elegant and classy, especially on the front side. The front side of this phone is really well designed by the vendor. Actually, I’m really impressed with how the physical keys below the screen are produced in flat surface, so they don’t look too prominent on the front body. The 2 buttons of left and right soft key also look integrated with the area around the screen.

If you look at this phone on the side angle, despite the fact that this phone has the slider for the keypad on the back panel, in the thickness of 10.9mm, this phone looks really slim. But this phone still feels nice and solid in hand grasp.

The most prominent element that looks stand out on the front side of this phone is the circle D-Pad. This D-Pad also looks elegant and I really like the metallic trimming that surrounds the entire circle of the D-Pad. The D-Pad also looks well integrated with the area around the screen. I think this D-Pad is the one that elevates the whole design on the front side.

On the left side of device, you’ll find the volume buttons. The camera button and microSD card slot can be found on the right side. Unfortunately, this phone is not equipped with 3.5mm head phone jack, because it will definitely make it look more as a great music cell phone.

Camera

On the back side, there is nothing to be found on this area, even the camera lens is not placed on the back cover. However, interestingly, this phone comes with 3.2MP camera, which is concealed inside the back side of front panel. So every time you want to launch the camera gear to enter to the camera interface, you must firstly open the slider. The camera of this phone has also been equipped with LED flash and Autofocus supports. So if you love snapping photos or recording videos, the camera of this phone can well accommodate you hobby.

Interface and Functionality

The screen of this phone is also an interesting aspect to talk about. With the supports of TFT, 256K color display and 240x320 pixels, the users interface looks well presented on the screen. This 2.2 inch screen also appears pretty huge on the front side. So staring at the screen in long period of time still brings a pleasing experience to the users. Not to mention, this phone also supports animated theme and you can also place the analog clock in the stand-by mode, which is pretty big on the upper right of the screen.

The interesting part of its user interface is when you enter to the main menu. On the menu, every time you want to select any application, press OK or go back to the main menu, you can hear some specific background sounds. It’s kind of cool actually. However, this can be so annoying when you use this feature around the public area. So you might want to turn it off.

This phone also has been installed with Document viewer (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF) and Business card scanner. Interestingly, instead of using Google Search, Samsung as the vendor of this phone decides to use the competitor, Yahoo search integration on this phone. Not to mention, this phone also provides Bluetooth, USB, Java MIDP 2.0, Stereo FM radio and TV-Out support as the main features.
