But today, that old Kindle has been revolutionized by Amazon into a touch screen tablet, and its name has now changed to Kindle Fire, a cheapest tablet PC
running on Android platform that offers the best experience not just for reading e-Book only, but this awesome tablet is also great for browsing internet, watching movies, listening to music and the most importantly, Amazon Kindle Fire is surprisingly a great gaming device for sure. And the best thing about Kindle Fire is that this tablet is sold for only $199!!
Cheapest Tablet PC - Between Kindle Fire and iPad
Compared to iPad, especially the new iPad, maybe Kindle Fire doesn’t stand a chance to beat the whole aspect of that iPad for sure. Besides, it’s not wise to compare them both since iPad 9.7 inch screen is definitely bigger than the 7 inch screen on Kindle Fire. However, since they both are PC tablets running a touch screen input method technology, then Kindle Fire could be the future threat for iPad if Apple keeps stubbornly selling iPad at the highest price.

One great thing that I really like about this tablet than iPad is because the size of this tablet is amazingly perfect in hand grasp, while iPad is a lot bigger and heavier and it’s gonna be so bothering to bring iPad on-the-go. On the other hand, the size of Kindle Fire is just perfect, it’s not too small and it’s also not too big either. You can even use it so conveniently with only one hand.
I’m also amazed with how Kindle Fire can be so powerful in handling any kind of Android games, from simple game like Angry birds, until much higher definition games like GTA 3, Gangstar Rio: City of Saints, The Sims 3, Real Racing 2, Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation and many higher spec’d Android games that you can also find on Google Play Store. So iPad is not the only tablet that can handle HD games because Kindle Fire is also powerful as gaming device.
Design
The design of Kindle Fire looks really simple without unnecessary element whatsoever. On the top of device, you will find the dual loudspeaker, while the power button can be found on the bottom position along with the 3.5 mm headphone jack and micro USB port. Kindle Fire looks really simple but it still looks elegant as PC tablet.
The other worth mentioning aspect is that Kindle Fire is not equipped with any physical button, so if you want to listen to music or watch some movies on this tablet, you need to tap the screen in order to navigate this tablet. It would have been great if Kindle Fire had been equipped with physical volume buttons, which make it easier to turn the volume down when watching movies or listening to music.
