The first 2 devices, iPhone 5 and 10-inch of iPad will be taken care by Apple’s OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), Pegatron, and the iPad mini will be handled by other OEM, Foxconn. Anyway, regarding the iPad Mini, apparently, it doesn’t take long time for this new device to launch because according to a “reliable source” called iMore, iPad mini is heading on its release date in October, the same month when the iPhone 5 allegedly will also launch by Apple.
It looks like, seeing the increasing popularity of Kindle Fire, a 7-inch cheapest tablet PC developed by Amazon in the Android tablet market, Apple sees this tablet as a future threat for iPad. This tech giant wants to deliver much smaller version of iPad in order to counter attack the threat from Kindle Fire and other Android tablets. iPad Mini rumored will be priced between $200-$250, which is still higher than the $199 price of Amazon’s Kindle Fire.
However, Apple says that it wants to price the iPad Mini more aggressively in order to kill the competition in the tablet market because according to IDC forecast, Android tablets are believed will beat the market share of iPad by the year of 2015. Anyway, iPad mini will be equipped with much lower internal storage than iPad, 8GB. But the other specs still remain uncertainty. So we should wait and see for the next Apple’s press announcement regarding this increasing rumor.

iPad mini and iPod Touch Will be Announced at Separate Event in October
So we’ve all already made sure that Apple will unveil its biggest pride new iPhone 5 on September 12th, but what about the other new Apple device that everyone’s been waiting for so bad, you know,
the iPad mini
?Well, apparently, if you just cannot wait to see how the device will look like in person, I’m afraid you have to be patient a bit because according to multiple reports, the iPad mini will be unveiled by Apple in October at a separate iTunes event that will also share media publicity with other Apple’s new device, the new iPod Touch.
This actually can be acceptable since Apple wants all attention from the public to be centered solely on the launch of new iPhone 5. Therefore, iPad mini and iPod Touch must be willing to wait for their turn in October
.Actually, something that is so exciting to wait is the arrival of new iPod Touch. Based on the rumors, the latest generation of iTouch will come with the same screen size that iPhone 5 also adopts, the 4-inch display or maybe 3.99999-inch screen.
