Samsung's New Project, Windows Phone 8 Smartphone Predicted to be as Good as the GALAXY S III, in Terms of Design and Hardware

Few days ago, many people who have been expecting the arrival of the Samsung’s most awaited smartphones in 2012, Samsung GALAXY S III, have finally met in person with the actual device at Samsung’s event in London. Even though there are mixed responses that surround this device, Samsung GALAXY S III proved is still a worth buying smartphone for many people, not just Samsung’s fans, because many people believe this smartphone will be the new king in mobile phone market.

Anyway, after those impatient fans being shown off with the newest series of GALAXY S family, now it’s time for Samsung to introduce the next smartphone, the cousin of Samsung GALAXY S III, and it’s called Samsung Focus S II. Interestingly, instead of using the Android OS, the platform that has given many fortunes for Samsung, this company decides to give a shot to the other platform that until now is still struggling really bad to grow its ecosystem in mobile phone industry, and that is Windows Phone OS.

Anyway, the reason why I inferred Samsung Focus S II as the cousin of Samsung GALAXY S III was because many people believe that the SGS III will be used by Samsung as the core formula or core design concept to make Samsung Focus S II. Maybe Samsung wants people to be so familiar first with the presence of SGS III. So later on, Samsung Focus S II can get warm welcome in the market by using the previous presence of SGS III.

Hence, it’s gonna help grow brand awareness among people and to give costumers more choice if they don’t want to go with the Samsung GALAXY S III, maybe because Android OS has become so mainstream these days, they can still opt to buy another Samsung’s smartphone that brings different taste of Windows Phone experience, Samsung Focus S II.

Meanwhile, Windows Phone platform is still struggling really hard to grow its community (you can see how Nokia with its Lumia series is still finding it hard to clash Apple and Android vendors in cell phone industry. But apparently that doesn’t make Samsung scared to inject its smartphones with Windows Phone OS (maybe a little). As a matter of fact, this company has big plans with Windows Phone OS to grow this platform even further in the future, just like what Samsung has done with Android OS.

According to multiple reports, Samsung is ready to bring at least one smartphone and 2 tablets with Windows Phone 8 experience. And talking about tablet, rumor also has it that Samsung is on the verge to launch the next series of Galaxy Note, which allegedly will be called as GALAXY Note 2. So maybe, besides offering Android OS on this tablet, Samsung will also serve another tablet option with the operating system a la Windows Phone 8.

Time will tell.
