, that will likely be left crying by Microsoft in the near future if this rumor comes to fruition.Anyway, according to the financial analyst Rick Sherland, it’s actually true that Microsoft is indeed about to produce its own Windows Phone 8 handsets after unveiling its recent “Surface” tablet to the public few days ago. Sherland then quoted as saying :
“Separately, our industry sources tell us that Microsoft may be working with a contract manufacturer to develop their own handsets for Windows Phone”.However, Sherland also added that the WP 8 handsets that Microsoft has been working on lately probably will be just a reference platform instead of an actual Microsoft’s market-oriented devices.

So it looks like, the rumors will be much stronger to turn into tangible presence that indeed, Microsoft has been working on a really big project in its secret lab to launch its own Windows Phone 8 smartphones in the near future.
