All Canadian Carriers Will Include Dropbox Service for Samsung GALAXY S III

In the recent months, one device that has been discussed a lot in the US and Canada lately is definitely

Samsung GALAXY S III

. With 5 major US’s carriers have already been busy lately in offering this “Next Galaxy” phone for their customers, in Canada, some of carriers in this country have also begun accepting the preorders of this phone.

Anyway, if you happen to live in Canada, a good news just surfaced. As we all already know earlier, if in the US, the customers who pre-ordered the

Samsung GALAXY S III via AT&T or Verizon won’t get the FREE 50GB of cloud storage from Dropbox

. Well, it's because these 2 carriers decide to not include the Dropbox service in their 2-year contract plans, then the people in Canada must be grateful because all the Canadian carriers just announced that they would provide the cloud storage from Dropbox in their offered plans.

All Canadian Carriers Will Include Dropbox Service for Samsung GALAXY S IIIActually, it’s not just AT&T and Verizon that don’t agree to include Dropbox cloud service (worth $99) in their contract plans because in Korea, SK Telecom and NTT Docomo in Japan have also rejected the Dropbox service in their Samsung GALAXY S III contract plans.

So if you live in Canada and you also happen to like the idea to store your media files on cloud storage, then you’re in good hands as all Canadian carriers that accept the preorders of Samsung GALAXY S III will give you a FREE 50GB of cloud storage from Dropbox, which 2GB is already given for FREE when you sign the 2-year contract of this handset, while the rest 48GB is the bonus from Dropbox service.

Samsung GALAXY S III Tip: Disable S Voice to Speed up the Home Button

Recently, the Samsung’s most awaited smartphone in 2012,

Samsung GALAXY S III

has finally arrived safely in the hands of some customers who already pre-ordered it or bought it at retailers, with the exception of US users out there that have to wait patiently for the device to launch in their land later this June. And for those who are lucky and already receive the units, can now test drive all the features and the awesomeness of this “Next Galaxy” phone.

Anyway, as many of you already know,

Samsung GALAXY S III is equipped with the feature called S-Voice

, a voice-based assistant just like the Siri on Apple devices. Some say it’s a cool feature in this phone, while others don’t really like it and will unlikely use it very often.

Samsung GALAXY S III Tip: Disable S Voice to Speed up the Home ButtonAnd if you really are the owner of Samsung GALAXY S III, you will also know that the S-Voice feature in this phone can be quickly activated by double tapping the home button.

However, by using this double-tap setting, apparently when you want to go back to the home screen, it always takes a bit moment for the phone to response because the phone wants to firstly know whether you want to go back to the home screen or activate the S-Voice with 1 more tap.

Some users don’t really like it when that happens because it makes going back to the home screen a little bit slower. Therefore, if you feel the same thing just like those users and want to deactivate the double-tap feature on home button, then this is how you roll.

Firstly, go to the S-Voice settings, secondly, change the double-tap command on the “Launch S Voice” setting menu, and you’re done. Now the home button of your phone can bring you to the home page in much faster than before.

Samsung GALAXY S and GALAXY S2 Has been Sold 50 Million Units, 7 Million for Samsung GALAXY Note

It’s just amazing that Samsung, the company that used to be not so popular in cell phone industry, suddenly can crack through the solid wall of the cell phone industry and become so hugely popular as smartphone maker, even tablet maker, thanks to the rise of 3 Samsung GALAXY soldiers, from

Samsung GALAXY S, GALAXY S II and the phablet Samsung GALAXY Note in the past 2 years

.

The increasing popularity that Samsung has received through its GALAXY series (

Samsung GALAXY S, GALAXY S II, Samsung GALAXY S III and Samsung GALAXY Note

) is just so surprising for many people to see, even the boardroom at Apple’s HQ would jump from their seats when knowing that Samsung, one of their OEMs for iDevices, became the top commander of Android ship, their new tough enemy in smartphone market.

But I think it’s great to see that Samsung, as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and a device assembler, can jump to the field of mobile phone industry because I believe that will guarantee smartphones and tablets from this company to be more sophisticated and reliable in the upcoming future, in term of hardware and performance.

Anyway, 2 years now have passed and since Samsung GALAXY S made its debut in the year of 2010, this phone has been sold over 24 million units worldwide, according to the source at Samsung.

Meanwhile, the next model, Samsung GALAXY S II grabs more attention than the predecessor, selling over 28 million units globally. And what makes the sales of GALAXY S II more amazing than the first model because that 28 million unit mark is surpassed within just 1 year since its first debut. Amazing!!

So now, totally, Samsung has successfully sold over 52 million units of those 2 models. And apparently, that total units sold of the Samsung GALAXY S and GALAXY S II is about to increase much further, thanks to the latest GALAXY S series, Samsung GALAXY S III because this third model is so insanely popular and reportedly, has been pre-ordered by 9 million customers all across the globe (not including the US) even before the phone hasn’t been launched yet to the market.

And what about the popular phablet from Samsung, the Samsung GALAXY Note? Well, according the same report brought by Samsung itself, the GALAXY Note already sold 7 million units since it was rolled out in October. With the newest series, the Samsung GALAXY Note 2, is about to be launched by Samsung, then it looks like, Samsung will become even more popular not just as OEM, but also, as a gadget maker.
