, the phone recently is starting to give a huge boost in the sales of LG and make this company surpass the 3 million sales mark of its LTE-equipped phones. LG Optimus LTE itself has been shipped for around 1 million units in Korea alone and becomes the most wanted model from this company to date.

Anyway, besides LG Optimus LTE, LG has also been selling its other LTE-injected devices to the smartphone market, from LG Optimus LTE II (2GB of RAM smartphone), LG Optimus LTE Tag (an NFC-equipped phone), LG Optimus Vu (the slimmest LTE phone, equipped with 5-inch IPS screen) and LG Revolution (on May 2011).

LG Has Sold 4 Million Units of LG Optimus LTE Series

Samsung used to be not so popular enough in cell phone industry when Nokia and Sony Ericsson were in charge in this business for a long haul in the past. This news actually is not that surprising because we’ve already heard the last report few weeks ago that LG has successfully sold around

1 million units of LG Optimus LTE series smartphones in Korea

, its own land base. And that happened in May.

Soon after that, the sequel also continued to grow and did a great job in Korean smartphone market by selling more 400.000 units of the LTE-equipped devices. However, that’s not the end of LG’s success stories because this phone maker still does a great job in selling around 3 million units of LG Optimus LTE series in the same period in May and saw 4 million units sold in total.

Even though the number is still far away from being as impressive as what Samsung has achieved through its GALAXY series, it can still be a great sign that LG has learnt a lot of experiences from the past and this company is heading on the right direction. This prediction could turn out to be true if LG’s recent pride, LG Optimus 4X HD managed to distract market demands from other popular smartphones like iPhone and Samsung GALAXY series in the future.

Only time will tell whether LG could be as big as Samsung or would only be big in its own land, Korea.
