Nokia Lumia 900
, Nokia apparently has another great plan in mind in order to grab more loyal fans in the future. As the release date of the most anticipated movie, The Dark Knight Rises, is still in the matter of months away, Nokia is ready to embrace all of the fans of this movie
by launching the Batman edition of Nokia Lumia 900
.This Nokia Lumia 900 Batman edition or Dark Knight edition is predicted to launch in Europe anytime soon. As a matter of fact, Nokia itself has confirmed regarding this issue that, indeed, this device will soon arrive in the UK at the Phones4u.
Unfortunately, this phone will come in limited edition only, which is pretty bad, since there are many fans of “The Dark Knight Rises” movie that I think will be even happier to have a hold such a Batman gadget like this phone in their hands. Anyway, after the launch of this phone takes place in the UK, it then will head on to the Germany and France, also in limited edition.

Nokia Sold Only 600.000 phones in North America in Q1 2012
It’s really bad that the one that used to be so freakin’ productive in making cell phones in the past, now seems like losing out its own deeper soul in making great cell phones and running out of creativity in the cell phone market when many manufacturers finally have guts to appear in front of competition. Yeah, I’m talking about Nokia. In the rampant developments of touch screen smartphones, Nokia seems like the one that is so left behind by other competitors in making smartphones that sell in the market.
According to Nokia internal sources, the recent financial report of this company shows that in the first quarter of 2012, Nokia has suffered operating losses, which have now increased to almost $1.8 billion in the first trimester. Surprisingly, or not surprisingly, Nokia was only capable of selling 600.000 devices in Q1 2012, and this number is accumulated not just in US, but almost entire North America market, including Canada.
And what makes it worst is that the number 600.000 doesn’t only contain Nokia latest pride, Lumia series, but that number also includes all across the cell phones from Nokia, including feature phones and Symbian-based handsets.
This is such a slap on a face for Nokia which pushes this company on the verge. And Nokia should come up with a new brilliant idea (Duh!) to make something greater for its Lumia series or to implement a new strategy in order to stimulate market demands regarding its Lumia series existence.
Therefore, since a lot of smartphone users are also into mobile gaming these days, porting those 2 games exclusively only for Windows Phones could actually be such a brilliant idea, right? And this means, Nokia and Microsoft should ignore and never be tempted with the profit opportunities in Google Play Store and App Store (which I doubt it) in order to make this work.

Thanks to Nokia Lumia 610 and Lumia 900 Launch, Nokia Claims Top Position Again in Finland
Few years ago, Nokia was a real giant in the cell phone industry all over the world. This company used to have various kinds of cell phones spreading out in the entire mobile phone market. Not to mention, Nokia had also been the king in its own country, Finland, as the biggest market share gainer in the Finland’s cell phone market.
However, it then changed suddenly when the invasion of touchscreen phones from Apple and Android cell phone manufacturers arrived in the recent years. People were starting to leave Nokia phones and this company’s market share also went down significantly, thanks to the rise of Apple and Android phones. The worst thing, in its own headquarter in Finland, Nokia was also losing so many slice of its share in the market.
Recently, these 2 Lumias just launched on Friday in Finland, and surprisingly, or not so surprisingly, both devices got a warm welcome in the market. According to DNA Trade Manager, Sami Aavikko, via Taloussanomat, he revealed that Lumia 610 and Lumia 900 became the carrier’s best selling handsets of the day. Other carrier, Elisa and TeliaSonera also felt the same thing as both devices did a good head start on their first launch in that country.
However, things might get really tough for Nokia in the upcoming future because Samsung GALAXY S III will soon arrive in that country. Right now, Nokia manages to bag 41% of market share in Finland’s mobile phone market and becomes the number 1 in the market, while the former king, Samsung, only grasps 28% of market share.
So even though Nokia will still be on the top position after Samsung GALAXY S III’s launch, the distance between Nokia and Samsung’s market share will obviously be much even closer, especially, given the fact that the GALAXY S III has been pre-ordered by more than 9 million new customers in the entire world (not including US), a truly staggering number for an Android phone.
