ViewSonic Shows off a 22-inch Monitor at Computex. Injected with Android OS

The use of technology, especially touchscreen technology is starting to get even nuts these days. As the evolution started at around 3 inches, it then continued to around 4 inches, 7 inches, and last I heard 10 inch devices are about to be shown off in the face of many gadget maniacs all over the planet. But apparently, that is not the ending journey of touch screen evolution because a company named

ViewSonic is in the preparation to launch a staggering 22-inch tablet or monitor in the upcoming future

. According to Engadget, that 22-inch “tablonitor” will make its first debut on June 5th at Computex.

Interestingly,

the platform that is chosen by ViewSonic to run the monitor is Android

, which is starting to become a normal or standard operating system to run touchscreen devices in the recent trend. And since this tablonitor can be considered as a “new kid on the block” to date, then it will get the injection of Ice Cream Sandwich.

ViewSonic Shows off a Staggering 22-inch Monitor at Computex. Injected with Android OSBesides ViewSonic, one other company, a big one, Microsoft has also been planning to produce a similar device that is aimed for corporate uses. And it will be planted with Microsoft home-made-OS, Windows RT.

This may come to fruition since the use of touchscreen technology has become a normal thing to see these days in real life. And with many corporate are starting to implement the use of toucscreen technology (i.e., smartphones and tablets) to the entire employees, then this is very likely to happen in the future, near future, that many companies will finally use touchscreen monitor as the platform to do presentation in front of the big bosses in the boardroom.
