LG Singapore Confirms that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is Coming to some of LG Optimus Series
Unlike Sony Mobile, phone manufacturer like LG is not the kind of company that really shows enthusiasm in releasing Ice Cream Sandwich updates for their phone users. It’s actually proved by how the owners of LG’s smartphones are still waiting curiously whether they will receive the Android ICS updates for their devices or sadly, not.
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is about to arrive soon (or later) on particular handsets, such as: LG Optimus LTE
, LG Prada 3.0, LG Optimus Black, LG Optimus 3D, and LG Optimus 2X. However, LG Singapore is still hesitant to leak the roll out date of the ICS updates to the public, although they have given a hint that says the updates will come out “in due time”.LG Optimus 2X was decided by LG would get the Android Ice Cream Sandwich
.Unfortunately, the US variant of that device, which is called as T-Mobile G2X, didn’t receive the update. So it’s still uncertainty whether the news brought by LG Singapore are actually addressed for those using the handsets in Singapore only, or the global users.
So if you’re still curious whether this news will only be applied for the owners in the Singapore or otherwise, worldwide users, you should keep yourself updated by visiting your chosen carrier or LG official website based on your country.
