Samsung GALAXY S III has reached over 9 million preorders all over the world (not including the US)? If you do remember with that report, apparently, Samsung’s representative didn’t lie about its claim.
According to recent report,
Samsung GALAXY S III apparently has been sold for almost 6.5 million unitsand this might surprise you even more because that “6.5 million” number is actually only slated in the second quarter of this year alone. This report was brought by an analyst from JP Morgan, by the way.
According to that analyst, Samsung is also expected will be selling another 15 million of Samsung GALAXY S IIIs in the next third quarter alone. So in total, Samsung GALAXY S III is predicted to reach over 21.5 million units sold in Q2 and Q3 combined, if it comes to fruition.
Well, this will absolutely activate the red alarm in Apple’s headquarter and push the release date of the next iPhone 5 much faster than it’s expected before its popularity is eaten much further by “The Next Galaxy” phone.
With the next arrival of Samsung GALAXY Note 2 is also on the verge in the near months, then it’s possible that Samsung will cause a much bigger damage in the sales of Apple’s iPhone when the “Note 2” finally launches to the market.
Actually, the proof is already there for us to know. Based on the same report from JP Morgan’s analyst, from March to June alone, Samsung reportedly has been selling over 50 million units of smartphones, and that number manages to top the sales of iPhones with its 30 million units sold.
So it looks like, the possibility of Samsung’s smartphone straddling the Apple’s iPhone is becoming more real this time. So we should wait and see whether this will happen or not when the new iPhone finally launches to the market.

Samsung GALAXY S3 Has Reached 20 Million Units Sold in Just 100 Days
Remember the time when you heard the news about Samsung that had successfully sold over 9 million units of
Samsung GALAXY S3? Well, apparently, that news is just the old news because the newer report suggests that Samsung GALAXY S3 has now surpassed more than 20 million units sold worldwide. Wow!! Isn’t that amazing, huh? 20 million is definitely not a small number. Amazingly, that number is achieved in just 100 days, which is 3 times much faster than the predecessor and 6 times much faster than the original Samsung GALAXY S.
However, this achievement doesn’t come so surprising because earlier before, we’ve already heard that
Samsung GALAXY S3was already predicted it would sell more than 15 million units in the third quarter of 2012, after successfully selling over 6.5 million units in the previous quarter, which means, total units sold of the device will be around 21.5 million units in the second and third quarters combined.
Actually, the 20 million units sold of Samsung GALAXY S3 came from different regions. For example is in Europe, this “Next Galaxy” phone has sold over 6 million units, while in Korea, 2.5 millions units were sold, 4 million units were sold in North America and the rest remaining 4.5 million units were sold in Asia.
With this impressive result, Samsung GALAXY S3 will definitely cause much bigger damage to the sales and popularity of new iPhone 5 when this Apple’s pride is finally launched. Furthermore, Samsung has just officially announced the phone-tablet Samsung GALAXY Note II at the recent Samsung Unpacked event, which is predicted, will be more popular than the predecessor that has sold over 10 million units world wide.
