Asphalt 7: Heat Finally, Yeah, Finally Rolled out on Android After 1 Month Delay

Unlike on iOS, for game developers, developing games for Android devices is definitely a pain in the butt. Well, that’s because the variety of Android devices around the market that each has different specs and also different screen size plus screen resolution plus pixel density, really makes game developers tremendously busy every time they want to release new games for each Android device.

It’s proved by how Gameloft needs a really long time just to finally release the Android version of

its most popular car-racing-wrecking franchise, Asphalt 7: Heat

 on Google Play Store.

Actually, this game has been available to download since June 25th a month ago. Unfortunately, only iOS users that got the honor to test drive this game for the first time on this planet earth. Weirdly, Gameloft already stated via the trailer video of

Asphalt 7: Heat that the Android version would arrive around the last June

. However, the plan was then cancelled by Gameloft until the game finally arrived on Google Play Store just a while ago.

Luckily, other recent releases from Gameloft like The Amazing Spider-man and The Dark Knight Rises didn’t take too long to finally jump from iOS to Android platform.

Anyway, Asphalt 7: Heat is now available to play for any Android device running Android 2.2 or above and it costs only $0.99, which is the same price tag that Gameloft asks you to pay for the iOS version. This game is really heavy to carry on your device as it weighs around 1.4GB. So if you are planning to buy this game, then be sure to clean all the unnecessary files inside your device in order to give more space for the game file.

For those of you who haven’t heard the news regarding this game, Asphalt 7: Heat actually has been one of the best selling apps on App Store since its first launch and it already managed to sit on the top spot on App Store as the best selling app on “video game” category. So now you know that this racing game is really popular around the app market, making sure that you're not buying a random cat in the sack.

If you are eager to experience this latest installment of Asphalt series on your Android device, then be sure to check out Asphalt 7: Heat on Google Play Store where it’s now available to download for just $0.99.

Asphalt 7: Heat Reaches the Top Spot on App Store. Already Hits 50 Million Downloads

Apparently, it doesn’t take much longer for

Asphalt 7: Heat to “heat” the App Store

. Not long time after its first launch just 3 days ago or so, now Asphalt 7: Heat just managed to climb the top spot in the App Store’s top paid ranking in 17 countries for iPhone and 51 countries for iPad.

As I’ve been expecting before, the “$0.99” price tag that Gameloft puts on

Asphalt 7: Heat apparently is the one that becomes the reason why this game manages to attract tremendously amount of downloads

, specifically over 50 million downloads in just within 3 days.

With this impressive result, Gameloft’s Asphalt 7: Heat also deserves the top position in the category of “games” on App Store as a top paid game in 47 countries for iPhone device and 57 countries for iPad. Amazingly, many users of this game rate Asphalt 7: Heat as exceptional from 4.5/5 to 5/5 in most countries in the world.

Meanwhile, the Senior Vice President Product at Gameloft quoted as saying:
“We’re thrilled to see the enthusiastic welcome Asphalt 7: Heat has received all over the world. Throughout development, our production teams have invested a great deal of passion and determination to bring technical and high speed racing, while still delivering a compelling and engaging experience for everyone. The dazzling start of this installment of Asphalt, best-selling franchise with more than 50 million downloads since launch, crowns the series as the benchmark racing game of smartphones and tablets.”
Asphalt 7: Heat Reaches the Top Spot on App Store. Already Reaches 50 Million DownloadsIf putting “$0.99” price tag to Asphalt 7: Heat can give such unbelievable result like this, I just can’t imagine what will Gameloft receive when its 2 newest blockbuster games “The Amazing Spiderman” (which is currently hot in console gaming) and “The Dark Knight Rises” (already hot in console with Batman Arkham series) arrive soon on respected app markets with the same price tag.

More million dollar revenues apparently will come visiting Gameloft’s pocket on just “intangible” products, huh? Impressive!!
