Best Smartphone Battery Life Test: Samsung GALAXY S III is the Champion

In the world of smartphone,

Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX is definitely haled as king as the best smartphone battery life,

no argue to that. Having successfully beaten the likes of Samsung GALAXY Note, GALAXY S II, iPhone 4S, HTC One X and LG Optimus 4X HD in the battery life test conducted twice by GSMarena a couple of weeks ago, then the “MAXX” will likely do the same thing to other smartphones. But what if the next battery life test doesn’t include Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX as the participant? Well, we may find out about that in the battery life test which is conducted by the company named “Which?”.

Recently, an institution named “Which?” claims itself as independent from any manufacturer, website or magazine and this company just conducted another

best smartphone battery life test among the latest smartphones like iPhone 4S

, HTC One X, Samsung GALAXY S III, Sony Xperia S, Motorola Gleam, HTC Sensation XXL and the average of 101 cell phones that the company already tested before.

The test was conducted under 3G receptions levels in order to get more realistic estimation regarding the real world usage. And as I mentioned earlier, the “MAXX” was not included in this test (maybe because that company already knew that Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX would be the champion again in the test).

So, who’s the winner? Okay, prepare yourself to be not-so-surprised. What? Why? Well, that’s because as everyone has expected, the smartphone with the best battery life award, goes to:

“The Next Galaxy” Samsung GALAXY S III. Yahoo!!

Samsung GALAXY S III had successfully kicked the butts of those competitors and managed to survive around 12 hours in talk time. In the second position, HTC One X once again managed to become the “second best” and its battery could last around 10 hours and 35 minutes.

Meanwhile, the “underrated” Sony Xperia S, surprisingly leapfrogged the iPhone 4S in battery life sector with 8 hours and 47 minutes, while Apple’s creation could only survive 7 hours and 47 minutes.

This may come so surprising because we used to believe that Apple’s iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S had the strongest and toughest battery life in smartphone world. This test and other 2 battery life tests conducted by GSMarena show how Android has the capability to beat Apple’s smartphones in the whole aspect, including on battery life sector.
