Anyway, according to official twitter account of HTC’s US, HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE is expected to arrive later on July 5th. Coincidentally, if July 5th indeed will be the release date of HTC Droid Incredible, then this phone is about to face a tough competition from Samsung “The Next Galaxy” phone, that is planned will launch on July 12th on Verizon. Therefore, there is no other way for Verizon except to price HTC Droid Incredible lower than the $199.99 price tag of Samsung GALAXY S III for the 16GB model.

HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE is predicted to be priced down to $149.99 with 2-year contract attached plus a $50 mail-in-rebate. Will HTC Droid Incredible X be Introduced as Google Nexus 5?

Even though Google official Nexus phones is not as popular as other high-end devices like Samsung GALAXY S III, HTC One X or iPhone 5, these Nexus handsets are still selling well in the market. Take Samsung GALAXY Nexus as a great example. Compared to Samsung GALAXY S III, that Nexus phone may not have the amount of sold units as impressive as the “Next Galaxy” phone, but still, the quality and specs that being offered on Samsung GALAXY Nexus are still as great as Samsung GALAXY S III.

Will HTC Droid Incredible X be Introduced as Google Nexus 5?That’s why, in the near future, Google is preparing to launch its next Google Nexus phones to the market. Interestingly, this time, it’s not going to be just one Nexus phone that Google is planning to unleash, but according to the old rumor that we already passed along to you few months ago, Google is ready to launch 5 new Nexus phones with several different manufacturers. And HTC will be one of them.

And after few months that “5 Nexus phones” rumor has been floating around the tech world, now another rumor just surfaced again to the public. According to this latest report, the device called HTC Incredible X that was supposedly announced at HTC’s recent event (when announcing WP8 handsets), allegedly will be renamed by HTC and Google as Google Nexus 5.

Still in the same report, Google Nexus 5 will come with some great quality specs in it. As a starter, this phone is said will have a 5-inch screen, which could be compared to other giant phone like of course, Samsung GALAXY Note or Samsung GALAXY S III. Amazingly, the remaining specs of this device will absolutely be jaw-dropping ones, such as: screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, LTE connectivity, 12MP camera, 2MP front-facing camera, 64GB of internal storage and 2.500mAh battery.

Actually, something that would weaken this rumor to come to fruition is definitely its 1080x1920 pixel screen resolution. Well, that’s because most of smartphones around the market right now, including iPhone 5 and even the most powerful tablets, are still adopting the screen resolution around 1080x1200 or 1080x1300 pixels.

So it’s really impossible if Google decides to jump really far from that. It will also make new devices that will be launched next year look not so impressive if they are still adopting much lower resolution than Google Nexus 5. Hence, it will also make it harder for them to catch up with the screen resolution of Google Nexus 5.

Anyway, besides those aforementioned specs above, this Google Nexus 5 is also said will come with Android 4.1.2 pre-installed, an upgrade from the Jelly Bean, and this latest Android version will bring new improvements and enhancements to Project Butter.

Well, whether this rumor will come to reality or not, this phone will still be exciting to wait and see, especially given the fact that HTC has been doing a really great job with its HTC One series. So maybe, now Google can fully trust HTC again to make the next Google Nexus phone to the market.
