Sony Xperia Lt30p Mint is Coming to the Smartphone Market in the Third Quarter of 2012

After rolling out Sony Xperia ion, where it’s now available to get for only $49.99 on Sony Mobile’s website few days ago, now Sony continues again its journey in smartphone world by releasing another new decent Android device called Sony Xperia Lt30p Mint.

And by looking at the Sony Xperia Lt30p Mint specs

, then this phone will likely be deployed in the high-end market. 13MP camera and 4.6-inch HD display are the first signs.

Sony Xperia Lt30p Mint is Coming to the Smartphone Market in the Third Quarter of 2012At a glance,

Sony Xperia Lt30p Mint kind of looks similar with the other Sony’s new smartphone called Sony Xperia GX

, which got announced together with Sony Xperia SX earlier and would be available only in Japan.

Sony Xperia Lt30p Mint features some great quality specs in it, from the staggering 13MP camera, 4.6-inch HD screen with the screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with the pixel density of 319 ppi, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with of course microSD external slot for storage upgrade, micro SIM card only support, NFC and a dual-core/quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor.

Unfortunately, Sony Xperia Lt30p Mint will come with non-removable battery in it, which turn out could be a problem for some customers in the future.

How about the design of Sony Xperia Lt30p Mint? Well, according to the source, this smartphone will be brilliantly designed by Sony Mobile with a slight curve on the back, which kind of reminds us with the similar design found on Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc. It’s also interesting to see that Sony Xperia Mint will have its physical buttons placed on the bottom right, in order to make them easier to reach even with single hand. Not to mention, other worth noting elements on this phone are the volume rocker, lock button and a dedicated camera shutter key.

Sony Xperia Lt30p Mint reportedly will arrive soon in the third quarter (Q3) of this year and it will likely come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed, with the upgrade to Jelly Bean is also expected to arrive immediately.

So if you’re still looking forward to buy a new Android smartphone from Sony Mobile, then you might want to wait a bit patient when Sony Xperia Lt30p Mint finally launches in the market.
