Two New WP8 Handsets Might Be Announced by Nokia on September 5

Apparently, what everyone has been expecting that Nokia is gonna fall to the grave when Microsoft announced that none of the current Lumia series in the market to date wouldn’t get Windows Phone 8 updates, will not come to fruition, at least for now.

Well, that’s because according to multiple reports, on September 5, Nokia will be ready to begin the new chapter in Windows Phone adventure, as this specialized phone maker is about to launch 2 new

WP8 handsets

to the smartphone market in the upcoming future.

Two New WP8 Handsets Might Be Announced by Nokia on September 5The date “September 5” that is exaggerated by the source is actually the same date when Microsoft will be releasing some more details about

the development of Windows Phone 8 along with WP8 handsets

. Luckily, that speculation would likely come to realization because it’s backed up by the reliable information saying that Nokia will also hold its “Nokia World” event just about the same time on September 5.

Unfortunately, that rumor also gets tackled by another truth that no Windows Phone 8 device will be unveiled at least until November this year, although announcing these WP8 handsets doesn’t hurt Microsoft in the heart.

So be sure to always keep yourself updated regularly about this news, especially if you are one of many people who are so excited with the new up and coming Windows Phone 8 along with its WP8 handsets.

Is Nokia WP8 Handset Going to Have a 21MP Camera?

Earlier before, we’ve been made curious by some recent rumors saying that on September 5th, Nokia and Microsoft are about to hold a separate event to introduce their latest

WP8 handsets under Lumia family

, that allegedly will be equipped with the PureView camera technology that has already been used on Nokia 808 PureView.

Is Nokia WP8 Handset Going to Have a 21MP Camera?Well, apparently, those rumors are increasing to more than just some floating rumors because the latest report also suggests that a 21MP PureView camera allegedly will be armed on

WP8 Lumia handsets

.

The speculation actually came up when Nokia rolled out a teaser video on YouTube entitled “Things are about to change” that showed a girl riding a bike, and she was then captured in motion with image stabilization. Soon after that, the new rumor started spreading out across the net.

Based on that video, most people believe that Nokia will be launching a new phone (obviously Lumia series with Windows Phone 8 OS in it) that will have a great capability on camera sector, which will be pointing to the PureView technology that Nokia has been developing in the recent months in its lab. Interestingly, the speculation doesn’t end there yet.

Apparently, a technology-related blog at WP Centric has an interesting theory regarding the teaser video released by Nokia. According to that blog, Nokia’s teaser video has a duration of 21 seconds, and Nokia’s new WP8 handsets, which one of them allegedly will be named or codenamed as “Phi” or read as “P”, has the 21 letter in Greek alphabet.

So according to WP Centric, these 2 findings have led to the conclusion that Nokia Phi is predicted will have a 21MP camera with PureView camera technology in it.

However, whether this theory will come to fruition or not, we will finally find it out later on September 5th when Nokia and Microsoft unveil their new WP8 handsets to the public. So be sure to always keep you updated with this news in the coming weeks.

Nokia Phi, Nokia Arrow and Nokia Atlas Will Likely be the WP8 Handsets that Nokia and Microsoft Are Planning to Announce

Earlier before, we’ve already heard the speculation regarding the plan of Nokia and Microsoft to finally unveil their first Windows Phone 8-powered handsets to the public, which is believed by some people that these new devices will likely use the PureView technology utilized on Nokia 808 Pureview. And apparently, it won’t take long for the rumor to finally come to fruition as Nokia and Microsoft will officially hold an event on September 5 to introduce their latest

WP8 handsets

.

Nokia Phi, Nokia Arrow and Nokia Atlas Will Likely be the WP8 Handsets that Nokia and Microsoft Are Planning to AnnounceHowever, many people and especially media are not really sure about what kind of device that these 2 companies are planning to announce. Luckily, the source at Russian blogger named Eldar Murtazin, says that Nokia and Microsoft will be announcing 3 new

WP8 handsets at the event. According to that blogger, the first device will likely be the Nokia Phi

, the rumored 4.3-inch smartphone and the other one that is still vague for public.

The first aforementioned model, Nokia Phi (only the codename by the way), is believed will come with 4.7-inch AMOLED screen. And still based on Eldar Murtazin, the design of that handset is said will be bigger, but slimmer than the Nokia Lumia 900 and it will look similar with the current Nokia’s flagship. The great things that for sure will make new buyers even happier are the existence of microSD card slot, NFC and an LTE radio.

Meanwhile, on other sources from the Verge, 2 of the newest Lumia smartphones running Windows Phone 8 above, the Nokia Phi and the other one that is allegedly called as Nokia Arrow will be offered at AT&T, with Nokia Phi as the high-end handset and Nokia Arrow will likely be the mid-range one. Not to mention, Nokia Phi will be exclusively sold on AT&T, while Nokia Arrow will probably also arrive also at T-Mobile. And the third model, which is allegedly codenamed as Atlas, is believed will also visit Verizon when it launches.

Anyway, even though these 3 new phones will get announced in September at Nokia/Microsoft’s event, the release dates for all of them are not expected to spill until October arrives.
