Lenovo IdeaTab Makes a Visit to FCC, Seeking Permission to Sell

If there is a company that deserves to get credits in the 7-inch tablet market, then Amazon is absolutely the one. If this online retailer didn’t come up with the idea to launch a 7-inch Kindle Fire, then this market would never exist, or at least would never be as popular as today, which means, tablets like Google Nexus 7, iPad mini and other 7-inch tablets would probably never exist.

Lenovo IdeaTab Makes a Visit to FCC, Seeking Permission to Sell Lenovo, the company that usually makes Notebooks and Netbooks in spare time, should also be thankful to Amazon for creating such a profitable niche market because this Chinese manufacturer will be ready its own 7-inch tablet creation called

Lenovo IdeaTab A2107A

.

Lenovo is now seeking permission to land its Lenovo IdeaTab A2107A tablet to the market

. It’s proved by the visit of this tablet to FCC and backed by some photo leaks of this tablet. If Lenovo can be considered as a serious player in the laptop making business, then this manufacturer doesn’t have a plan to low its standard when entering to the tablet market.

Lenovo IdeaTab A2107A comes with “the standard” of 7-inch tablets around the market to date, such as: 1024 x 600 pixel screen resolution, single-core 1GHz Mediatek MT6620P processor, 1GB of RAM, 2MP rear-facing camera and .3MP front snapper, 3700mAh battery that promises long hours of usage, 8GB or 16GB of internal storage, and some other standard specs.

Seeing other tablet players in this 7-inch niche market, then pricing this tablet expensively would be such a bad idea for this company, since other popular tablets like Google Nexus 7, Kindle Fire or Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 all use cheap price tags. Therefore, many believe that Lenovo IdeaTab A2107A tablet would be priced equally with other 7-inch tablets, around $199 or more.
