Samsung GALAXY Nexus is definitely one of the best Android devices in town, no argue to that. Being armed with high-end software, hardware and luxury design, many Android fans would want this phone so bad. Unfortunately, on the sales sector, Samsung GALAXY Nexus can be considered as not as impressive just like Samsung GALAXY S3 or even S2. Therefore, releasing the sequel of this device is definitely a must for Google and Samsung.
Recently, a new rumor just floated to the surface and Samsung fan site, SamMobile was the one who brought that up. According to this site,
the new successor for the Samsung GALAXY Nexus is currently in the works. With the codename “Superior”, this new Samsung GALAXY Nexus’s successor is said will carry the model number GT-i9260. FYI, the GT-i9250 is actually the model number of Samsung GALAXY Nexus.
This new device is also believed will come with some impressive specs in it, such as: 4.65-inch HD super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor. So things like sharp beautiful display and faster performance will be familiar to see on this phone. Meanwhile, on the camera aspect, the upgrades will take place as the 8MP camera on the back and 2MP camera on the front are said will be provided to users every time they want to snap photos, record videos, or do video calling.
Surprisingly, Google will finally break its company’s policy as this tech giant will finally give users the chance to expand the external storage with the microSD card slot, something that is so rare to happen given that fact that all Google Nexus smarpthones, including Google Nexus 7 tablet, don’t have microSD card slot.
However, since this is just a floating rumor, then don’t get your hopes too high whether the new Google Nexus smartphones will be based on this rumor or other rumors. So be sure to always stick around to this blog to get more updates about this phone.
Photos Allegedly Taken With Samsung GALAXY Nexus 2 Are Posted on Picassa
Just a while ago, we heard the latest rumor saying that HTC Incredible X, the 5-inch screened device that was supposed to be announced as HTC Incredible X, apparently will be launched by HTC as the next Google Nexus phone that later will be called as Google Nexus 5.
Now another rumor just surfaced again. According to this recent report, the photos taken with the next Google Nexus handset have just been posted on Picassa. The device itself, allegedly will be made by Samsung as the Samsung GALAXY Nexus 2 that with the codename Samsung i9260.
Unfortunately, the photos that were posted on Picassa apparently don’t really have a great quality and obviously wouldn’t show the real camera quality of this Samsung GALAXY Nexus 2 to the fullest. Many people believe that these photos are just taken at the early prototype stage. However, other people also guess that these images are fake ones.
Whether those photos are taken with Samsung GALAXY Nexus 2 or not, it will still be interesting to wait and see (the phone, not the photos), given the fact that Samsung is not the only one that will work with Google to make the next Google Nexus handset.
Anyway, for your information, several different manufacturers from LG, Sony, Samsung and HTC will be given the opportunities by Google to design and produce their own Nexus handsets to the market. These new Nexus phones will likely be introduced by Google at the same time around the fourth quarter of this year.
So if you’re one of the people who is interested to know more about the next Google Nexus phones that will come out this year, be sure to always keep yourself updated by visiting this blog in the near future.
