Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is finally coming to Samsung GALAXY S3’s T-Mobile model.
According to XDA Developers forum, one of the members in that forum just discovered that the
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is heading to the Samsung GALAXY S3 that has the model number GT-i9300, which is the T-Mobile model.
With the international version of Samsung GALAXY S3 will be getting upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean possibly on August 29th, does this mean that the Jelly Bean update for the T-Mobile model will roll out on the same date as the update arrives on the international version? Well, the question will surely be answered sooner when, of course, the Samsung Unpacked event ends.
Anyway, if you’re one of the owners of the international or T-Mobile model of Samsung GALAXY S3, then be sure to always keep you updated regarding this matter.
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is Coming to Verizon Model of Samsung GALAXY Nexus
As it’s been promised by Google (when announcing the Nexus 7 tablet), the first devices that would get the
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean were Samsung GALAXY Nexus, Samsung GALAXY Nexus S and Motorola Xoom tablet. The Jelly Bean updates for all of theses devices have finished rolling out just a while ago.
However, apparently, there is another device that still doesn’t receive the sweet love of
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean until now, and that is the Verizon model of Samsung GALAXY Nexus. The good thing is, after waiting for almost 3 months in the approval process, finally Verizon has granted permission for the Jelly Bean update to arrive for that Nexus phone.
Yup, you heard it right. If you’re currently holding the Verizon’s Samsung GALAXY Nexus in your hand, then it’s definitely the right time to finally squash the Ice Cream Sandwich on your phone with this super smooth and fast Jelly Bean experience.
Besides its lag-free performance, Jelly Bean comes with many great improvement and enhancements to the entire pre-installed apps on your smartphone. To name a few, things like Project Butter, Google Now, Google Voice Search, much improved notifications and more will be ones of many that you’ll get in the Jelly Bean update.
So if you’re looking forward to finally upgrade your phone to Jelly Bean, the update itself has the software version of JRO03O and it’s available for now until October 1st via WiFi only, while the update via mobile is not available yet.
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is Coming to HTC One X in October
The latest build of Android OS, the Jelly Bean no doubt has been the most wanted in Android community. Its smoothness and fastness are two of the reasons why every Android user really wants this Jelly Bean so bad for their devices. Unfortunately, as the newest edition of Android OS, not many devices will get the chance to taste the sweet love of Jelly Bean. However, it won’t happen to the owners of
HTC One X as this phone reportedly is being prepared to receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in the coming future. To be exact, the Jelly Bean for this phone will arrive soon in October next month.
Yeah, according to MoDaCo, if you’re holding the generic non-branded model of HTC One X in your hand, then you should be patient for a bit because
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is coming to your HTC One X possibly in October. Meanwhile, if you’re holding the AT&T model, you should be patient even more because the Jelly Bean update will likely be released at the end of this year, or around Christmas. So you should consider it as Christmas gift to make you feel comfortable if you are willing to wait until December.
On the other hand, if you’re the owner of HTC One S or HTC One XL, then you should pray that the Jelly Bean will soon arrive on your device because until now, there is still no report regarding the arrival of Jelly Bean updates for these 2 aforementioned phones above.
But the chance for HTC One S and HTC One XL to receive Jelly Bean is still really big considering these 2 phones are high end devices from HTC, so it’s impossible that HTC will forget about them and not releasing the Jelly Bean for those 2 devices.
So we should wait and see and keep you updated regarding this matter in the near future.
